PREAMBLE
RESORT KOVÁCS is an accommodation and catering facility located at No. 410, Novosedly, postal code 691 82. The operator of the RESORT KOVÁCS is the company Resort Kovács s.r.o., with its registered office No. 410, 691 82 Novosedly, Company ID: 269 03 300, VAT ID: CZ26903300, the company is registered at the Regional Court in Brno under file number C 44247.
The main business activity of RESORT KOVÁCS is the provision of accommodation and catering services.

RESORT KOVÁCS CAPACITIES
RESORT KOVÁCS offers accommodation in 10 double and 10 triple rooms, so the total capacity of RESORT KOVÁCS is 20 rooms / 50 beds. If requested, it is possible to order an extra bed in the form of a folding bed for a triple room, or a cot for a child up to 3 years of age.
BOOKING STAY
Booking a stay at the RESORT KOVÁCS is possible in the following ways:
a) phone or email
b) reservation form on www.kovacs.cz
c) Booking, Slevomat and other booking platforms
a) Phone or email
A person interested in accommodation who intends to make a reservation by phone is asked to write down these parameters in an e-mail after agreeing on the parameters of the accommodation (number of people, age, number of rooms, day of arrival/departure, alternatively, for example, a pet) with the staff of the RESORT KOVÁCS. After receiving an e-mail by prior telephone agreement, or after receiving an inquiry e-mail without prior telephone agreement, the staff of the RESORT KOVÁCS will make a non-binding reservation in the reservation system. Subsequently, a tax document is issued – an invoice with a general maturity of 3 days from the date of issue (this can be unilaterally changed by a decision of the RESORT KOVÁCS with regard to the date of commencement of the stay and the date of issue of the invoice), which is sent by e-mail to the person interested in accommodation for payment. If the payment is not credited to the account of RESORT KOVÁCS no later than the last due date of the invoice, the non-binding reservation is cancelled in its entirety. In the event of payment of the full amount on the invoice, the non-binding reservation changes into a binding reservation and the interested party and other persons for whom the reservation was made become future guests of the RESORT KOVÁCS. The main guest is informed about this by e-mail.
b) Reservation form on www.kovacs.cz
The person interested in accommodation sets the required accommodation parameters in the RESERVATION section of the www.kovacs.cz website. After submitting the reservation form, the person interested in accommodation is automatically redirected to the payment gateway of the RESORT KOVÁCS, where they pay the full amount electronically. After payment, a binding reservation is created in the reservation system of the RESORT KOVÁCS. The interested party will receive by e-mail summary information about the created binding reservation and a tax document – an invoice confirming the payment with an amount to be paid in the amount of CZK 0. The applicant and other persons for whom the reservation has been made become future guests of the RESORT KOVÁCS.
c) Booking, Slevomat and other booking platforms
If the applicant makes a reservation of services through public reservation platforms, they follow the instructions of the operators of these platforms until the moment when the reservation from the given platform is confirmed as binding (usually after payment). At the moment when the applicant receives a binding confirmation of their reservation from the platform, this reservation is considered binding on the part of RESORT KOVÁCS, but future guests of RESORT KOVÁCS do not receive any further e-mail or other confirmation from RESORT KOVÁCS. They receive such confirmation from the operator of the booking platform.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
RESORT KOVÁCS undertakes to provide services according to a binding reservation, to the extent and quality appropriate to the standard of RESORT KOVÁCS.
CANCELLATION OF RESERVATION (CANCELLATION POLICY)
If a future guest of the RESORT KOVÁCS finds out circumstances that do not allow him to use the confirmed accommodation and other services in the RESORT KOVÁCS, he is obliged to inform the RESORT KOVÁCS about this without delay and only in writing (by e-mail).
If it is only a change in the parameters in the binding reservation in the sense of an increase in the number of persons, the number of rooms, the number of nights, etc., RESORT KOVÁCS will assess the possibility of complying with such a change with regard to the available accommodation capacities on the given date. If the change in the parameters in a binding reservation concerns a reduction in the number of people, the number of rooms, the number of nights for which the binding reservation was made, or the cancellation of the entire binding reservation, then the following CANCELLATION CONDITIONS apply:

14 or more days before the day of check-in:
without penalty (RESORT KOVÁCS refunds 100% of the amount paid

13 – 7 days before the date of arrival:
50% of the total price (RESORT KOVÁCS refunds 50% of the amount paid)

6 – 1 day before the day of arrival at the accommodation, or if the guest does not arrive at all:
100% of the total price (RESORT KOVÁCS does not refund any amount)
In cases worthy of special consideration, RESORT KOVÁCS may waive the charge of cancellation fees, or reduce their amount by agreement. Any shortening of the length of stay during the accommodation, or failure to use some of the ordered services (if it is possible to use them) is not a reason for a refund of any amount of the price already paid according to the original binding reservation.
REFUND
In the event that RESORT KOVÁCS is obliged to refund any amount of money to the guest on the basis of the cancellation of a binding reservation or in the event of a change in a binding reservation, the procedure is as follows:
1. RESORT KOVÁCS will send a request to the e-mail address of the person who made the reservation for a refund of the given amount;
2. Upon receipt of the reply with the guest's bank account number, RESORT KOVÁCS is obliged to send the amount to the specified bank account within 5 working days at the latest.
CHECK-IN
Check-in at RESORT KOVÁCS (check-in) is on the first day of a committed stay from 2:00 p.m. Rooms are usually made available in accordance with the confirmed reservation, however, RESORT KOVÁCS does not guarantee the handover of a specific reserved room. In general, only guests with a binding reservation for which 100% of the price has been paid will receive the keys to the room.
CHECK-OUT
On the last day of the booked stay, the guest will vacate their room by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. The keys to the room will be left either in the door lock of the room, or they will be handed over to the staff of the RESORT KOVÁCS.
TAKING PHOTOS AND VIDEOS FOR MARKETING PURPOSES OF THE RESORT KOVÁCS
Interested parties/future guests/guests acknowledge that by a binding confirmation of the reservation, RESORT KOVÁCS is entitled to make photo documentation and/or audiovisual recording of current events that take place at RESORT KOVÁCS. RESORT KOVÁCS takes into account that the photo documentation / audiovisual recording does not clearly show details of the guests' faces or other details that allow the identification of guests; Materials obtained in this way may be used exclusively for marketing purposes of RESORT KOVÁCS and may be placed on the website of www.kovacs.cz or on the official profiles of RESORT KOVÁCS on Facebook and Instagram.
CLAIM
The Guest is entitled to complain about defects in the provided accommodation and/or services if their quality or scope does not correspond to the quality or scope specified in the binding reservation. The guest is obliged to file a complaint with the staff of the RESORT KOVÁCS without undue delay during the stay. RESORT KOVÁCS undertakes to find out the circumstances of the complaint without undue delay and, in the event of a justified complaint, to ensure the rectification of the defective condition or to provide the guest with a discount. Complaints made by the guest after their departure cannot and will not be taken into account. The operational managers of the resort are authorized to act on behalf of RESORT KOVÁCS in the matter of complaints.
OUT-OF-COURT DISPUTE RESOLUTION
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, ID No.: 000 20 869, internet address: adr.coi.cz/cs is competent for out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes arising from a purchase contract. The online dispute resolution platform located at the ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr website can be used to resolve disputes between the seller and the buyer arising from the purchase contract.
The European Consumer Centre Czech Republic, with its registered office at Štěpánská 567/15, 120 00 Prague 2, internet address: www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz is the contact point pursuant to Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes and amending Regulation (EC) No 2006/2004 and Directive 2009/22/EC (Regulation on online dispute resolution for consumer disputes).
The seller is entitled to sell goods based on a trade license. Trade inspection is carried out by the relevant Trade Licensing Office within its competence. To a limited extent, the Czech Trade Inspection Authority supervises, among other things, compliance with Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection.
INFORMATION ON THE HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)
RESORT KOVÁCS processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation and other generally binding legal regulations. Details on the processing of personal data are available on the website of Resort Kovács (www.kovacs.cz).
